Store — When you make a purchase, we collect billing and shipping information necessary to process your order, which is shared with payment processors and shipping partners as required. Sales tax handling follows applicable US state and local law.
Articles — If you comment on our blog posts, we may collect and display your name and comment; you may choose to comment anonymously.
Fora — When you enroll in courses, we collect information necessary to provide access and track progress. Information shared in community forums is visible to other members — please use discretion when posting personal information.
Studiolab — Information provided for consulting engagements is used solely to deliver those services and is subject to any additional confidentiality agreements executed with our US entity.
Newsletters — Email addresses collected for the US newsletter are used solely to send updates and promotional content from the US Site, consistent with CAN-SPAM. You may unsubscribe at any time.
Podcasts — If you access podcasts through third-party platforms, those platforms’ privacy policies apply.
Tools — Usage data from online tools is collected to improve functionality and user experience.
Directory — Directory listings are primarily third-party businesses. They may collect your information directly when you contact them; their own privacy practices apply to that information.

- Comment data: We collect the data in the comment form, plus your IP address and browser user agent, to help with spam detection.
- Gravatar: An anonymized hash of your email address may be checked against the Gravatar service. See Gravatar’s privacy policy at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible alongside it.
- Image uploads: Avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS); visitors can extract location data from images on the US Site.
- Embedded content: Articles may include embedded content (videos, images, etc.) from other websites, which behaves as if you visited that website directly — including their own data collection, cookies, and tracking.
Data Retention and Your Access Rights
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely to allow automatic recognition of follow-up comments. If you have an account or have left comments, you may request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, or request erasure of that data (excluding data we’re legally obligated to retain). Registered users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except their username); site administrators can also view and edit this information.
